DESCRIPTION:Life is full of rhythms in response to the movement outside us: the music we hear\, the cycles of nature\, or the routines in our lives. We also have internal rhythms\, instincts that guide our physical and emotional movement\, our relationships\, our choices\, and the way we live. The more we feel connected to our unique rhythms\, the easier it becomes to move with life. \nThis afternoon workshop will explore finding our own rhythms in life\, using fun\, guided movement and music in a group. It includes a brief introduction to Biodanza\, 2 guided sessions and a rest break with refreshments provided. \nThis workshop is for anyone who loves to dance (or always wanted to but never learned!)\, those who seek to express themselves more fully and people who want to grow and explore themselves in new ways. \nEarly bird tickets are $75 ($55 concession) until the end of September.

This is a five-week series that will help awaken your senses and energy levels as we head into the warmer weather. It’s best done each week to build on the progressive benefits\, but we understand life doesn’t always make that possible. So you can purchase tickets for individual sessions or the discounted full series. \nEveryone is welcome and no dance experience is required! \nBiodanza originates from South America and has grown to be enjoyed all over the world. It is a human development system\, where movement is the key to unlock more potential for a fuller life. \nThere are no steps to learn and nothing to get right. It is a space for you to enjoy freedom of expression\, to connect to your body and be more present with yourself and others. In a Biodanza session you will experience different rhythms and inspiring music specifically chosen from around the world to revitalise you from the inside out. \nWe start the sessions with a brief introduction followed by a facilitator guided movement class. \nThings to Note \nAs we’ll be moving\, it’s a great idea to bring a water bottle and to wear comfortable layered clothing so you can stay comfortable. In Biodanza we don’t wear shoes\, so please be prepared to dance barefoot or to wear nonslip socks.
