DESCRIPTION:Hi we’re Kate & Claudio\, avid Biodanza lovers and dancers. We have practised Biodanza in Brazil\, South Africa and Australia for many years and it has been transforming for us. We’re running this session in Sydney so you can encounter or re-encounter Biodanza and perhaps also meet yourself in new ways. We love sharing Biodanza and will be delighted to meet you in the dance. \nJoin us for an afternoon of exploration into the powerful connection between dance\, movement and well-being. Everyone’s welcome\, whether you’re already a Biodanza fan or a first-timer! \nWe invite you to awaken the dancer within and energise your intentions with the transformative dance practice that is Biodanza. \nThis event is for anyone open to deepening their connection with life. You don’t need to ‘be a dancer’\, no steps to learn\, just come as you are. \nWe are social beings but modern life can be lonely. Dancing is a natural way that humans connect. Let’s rescue the ancient wisdom of dancing\, not just for performance but for coming together\, enlivening each other\, connecting to our inner wisdom and celebrating life. \n“Biodanza is about learning to dance with life and rediscovering the pleasure of living.” \nBiodanza draws on the universality of human traditions of music and dance\, the creative arts as a mode of healing and the life sciences of biology\, anthropology and psychology. \nLed by Kate and Claudio\, who have been guiding Biodanza for many years\, this special event will take you on a unique journey of self-discovery. Everyone is welcome to come for either or both sessions\, see details below. \n1.30pm – 2.30pm – BIODANZA DISCOVERY TASTER\n“Biodanza is about learning to dance with life and rediscovering the pleasure of living.” \nThe intention of this session is an opportunity to discover Biodanza. If you are new to Biodanza this is a good place to start. Everyone is welcome whether you have done Biodanza before or not. Session runs for 1 hour. Please arrive 15 minutes early. \nThere is no charge for this discovery session but bookings are essential. Book here \n3.00pm – 5.00pm – BIODANZA SESSION ~ Awakening our Inner Dance\nIn this Biodanza session\, we will invite our inner dancer to awaken with its potency and potential for guiding our life. The dance is a way to feel you can move together with life – feeling empowered energised and also nourished.
