Kate Clement

Kate is a dance lover, music lover, life lover and connector. She loves bringing together people and ideas and exploring threads that dances us back to love, beauty and soul. After discovering Biodanza in South Africa in 1999 and becoming an active facilitator there until 2011, Kate moved back to Australia in 2012 and has since been sharing her love of the system here. Graduating from Banking and Finance to facilitating Biodanza seems like a big jump but Kate believes that underneath what we do we all want connection, vital motivation and a deep sense meaning and she sees that Biodanza offers transformation that brings access to this. She has worked with many different kinds of Biodanza groups from vulnerable teenagers in social projects to executive teams.

As the Director of the Biodanza Southern Cross School, Australia Kate guides the training of Biodanza facilitators, provides supervision and supports Biodanza to grow. She and her partner Claudio facilitate weekly groups in Canberra and gives workshops around Australia. She studied Biodanza in South Africa, Europe and South America, including with the founder Rolando Toro Araneda. She has facilitated Biodanza in Belgium, the Netherlands, South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Austria, Brazil, Latvia, Spain and New Zealand.

Kate also coaches executives in the public service and facilitates groups using Lewis Deep Democracy.

She deeply enjoys working with the depth of the Biodanza system and our human potential through the Biodanza school, weekly groups, workshops in nature and with archetypes, myth and story. She has studied and worked with many extensions of Biodanza including the Minotaur Project, Tree of Desires, 4 Elements, Neoshamanism and Aqua Biodanza.
